Self Funded
Self Funded
Instead of immediately seeking external funding, the Founders made the bold decision to self-fund Automatrix’s initial development. They invested their savings and continued to work part-time in their other businesses to sustain the company’s early stages. This self-funded approach has given Automatrix a strong foundation built on real customer needs rather than investor expectations. This authentic, customer-first development process has created a product that truly resonates with dealership operations and positions the company for sustainable long-term growth.

Our Journey
From Necessity to Innovation: The Rise of Automatrix AI-Powered ERP
What began as a simple, in-house necessity has become a transformative force in the automotive industry. Automatrix—now a fully integrated, AI-powered ERP system—was born out of the day-to-day challenges of dealership operations and has evolved into a comprehensive platform powering the future of independent automotive retail.
In 2010, facing an industry constrained by outdated software, fragmented tools, and manual processes, the founder of Automatrix drew on over 20 years of hands-on dealership experience to solve a problem he knew all too well. Armed with spreadsheets, calculators, and an entrepreneurial drive, he built a system that streamlined operations, centralized data, and brought control back to the operator.
What started as a solution for one dealership quickly gained traction. Other independent dealers saw the value, and demand grew. This grassroots innovation gave rise to Automatrix Dealer Software, a purpose-built Dealer Management System (DMS) that empowered users with real-time visibility, anytime-anywhere access, and the tools to manage every aspect of their business.
By 2018, Automatrix expanded to meet the complex needs of the Buy Here Pay Here (BHPH) segment, delivering tools specifically tailored to high-risk lending, collections, and contract servicing. Recognizing the industry’s shift, the platform underwent a major evolution in 2021, transitioning to a web-based architecture built for scale, security, and speed.
Now in 2024, Automatrix enters its most exciting chapter yet with the launch of its AI-powered ERP system—a fully integrated, intelligent platform designed for the modern dealership. With purpose-built modules like LoanTrack, RetailConnect, ServiceSuite, RelationIQ, ReconMaster, CollectIQ, InsightPro, AccuLedger, WorkforcePro, and more, the system offers predictive insights, automation, and end-to-end operational control like never before.
By the end of 2024, Florida Fine Cars—the very dealership where Automatrix was born—had risen to become one of the Top 10 Independent Dealers in the United States, surpassing $200 million in annual revenue. This milestone was a direct result of the operational efficiencies, real-time insights, and strategic scalability made possible by the Automatrix platform.
Automatrix isn’t just software—it’s the evolution of dealership management. Intelligent. Connected. Future-ready.
From Innovation to Impact: The Road Ahead for Automatrix
As we look to the future, our ambition is even bolder.
Automatrix’s next frontier is the fusion of three powerful models: the direct-to-consumer convenience of Carvana, the marketplace optionality of Expedia, and the operational control of an enterprise-grade Fleet Management System—all embedded within our native AI ecosystem.
We envision a world where consumers can browse, finance, insure, and receive vehicles in one seamless experience, while dealers, lenders, and mobility providers manage these transactions in real time with intelligent automation, predictive tools, and zero friction.
Our AI-driven architecture will power dynamic pricing, real-time credit decisioning, autonomous dispatching, predictive service management, and embedded compliance. As the automotive landscape shifts toward electrification, shared mobility, and autonomous vehicles, Automatrix is engineered to lead—not follow—that transformation.
By bridging Retail and Fleet, Automatrix is positioning itself as the operating system for modern automotive commerce, ready to serve independent dealers, fleet operators, and next-generation mobility platforms alike.
As the world changes, so must software. And Automatrix is committed to staying ahead of the curve—so our partners stay ahead of the competition.
Automatrix isn’t just software. It’s a movement—empowering dealerships today and driving the mobility revolution of tomorrow.
